Myrcene is one of the most common terpenes in cannabis and at 39% is the most prevalent in Blue Dream’s terpene profile. Myrcene is described as having a musky, earthy piney fragrance and flavor that may enhance or smooth out other flavors.
Alpha pinene, at 26% in Blue Dream’s profile, is a terpene that provides a spicy aroma and flavor. When consumed, alpha pinene is mildly relaxing and can assist with alertness.
Beta pinene at 11% in Blue Dream’s terpene profile has a citrus aroma (at higher concentrations) that can be reminiscent of pine but this terpene offers a mild effect when consumed and is low on the list of primary effects as it generally causes less drowsiness. It is commonly expressed as being associated with alertness where it may offer some assistance with acute attention, focus or memory recall.
